Locally based Flatley has also dismissed its litigation againstAvendra, the company that provides procurement services toMarriott's hotels.

The specifics of the resolution were not disclosed. However,both companies said that the "communications issues, which gaverise to their misunderstandings, have been clarified, and thatthere will be no significant changes to the existing managementagreement and no payments by either party."

Flatley had reportedly sued Marriott, as well as Avendra,claiming that the Bethesda, MD-based hotel manager hid its profits.But now Thomas Flatley, principal of The Flatley Co., says, "We arepleased with Marriott's recent communications to its hotel owners,and we are very happy to again be working closely with Marriott. Weare confident that, together, we will continue to provide ourguests with the finest hotel experience possible on the South Shoreof Boston."
