"The yard was very important to them," Pete Klees of the Phoenixoffice for Grubb & Ellis Co. tells GlobeSt.com. "That wasprobably the biggest reason (behind the move)."Klees said thecompany was located at 1140 W. Alameda in the same business park,but had outgrown the site.

The firm will occupy its new site at 822 W. 22nd St. oncerenovations to the single-story building are completed, Klees said.The company will pay $734,000 over the term of the lease. TheShidler Group of San Diego is the property owner.

Gordon Raguse of Grubb & Ellis represented the tenant in thetransaction. Klees was Shidler's representative.
