The plan is to carve out 10 acres for a build-to-suit for anaffiliate, United Crane Inc., John B. Littman of Cushman &Wakefield of Texas Inc. tells GlobeSt.com. Details of the projectfor the Houston-based United Crane were not available by presstime. The land is situated on the south side of McCarty Road nearLoop 610.

United Crane's currently operates from a 24,872-sf buildingsituated on about five acres along Kelley Street, also in thenortheast submarket. United Crane sells, rents, inspects andmaintains cranes. It has offices in Houston, Dallas, Austin andChicago.

Littman and B. Kelley Parker III, also of Cushman &Wakefield, represented the buyer in the negotiations. The brokerswould not release an asking or selling price.
