Now known as Lakeside Park, the property is to be used for townrecreation, a new town hall and parklands, according to officialswith the brokerage firm.

Robert P. Morini and Lisa Liffland of Houlihan/Lawrencerepresented the YMCA of Greater New York in the sale.

For more than 50 years, the property was owned and operated bythe YMCA of Greater New York as a conference center, children'scamp and for other YMCA programs. The property also features the36-acre Green Mountain Lake for swimming and boating use. Otherrecreational facilities located on the property are: tennis courts,a softball field, a roller hockey rink, a soccer field; severalpicnic pavilions, hiking trails and a boathouse with showers andpublic restrooms.
