Don Swanson of Westlake Village-based Westcord says the buyeracquired the fully leased, 15,000-sf structure at 166 N. MoorparkRd. in Thousand Oaks from a Los Angeles-based private investor.Swanson and Tony Principe of Westcord represented the buyer and theseller.

Swanson, who was the leasing agent for the 1960s vintagebuilding, says the new owner currently is in the process ofremodeling the three-story concrete block structure. He tellsGlobeSt.com that Westcord believes medical building is the first ofits type that was constructed in Thousand Oaks, a community wheremost development has occurred in the past 30 or 40 years. He saysthe facility is leased to a variety of tenants, mostly medicalfirms or practices. The seller owned the building for about 25years.
