In the mixed-use building, Coral Gables, FL-based Florida GrandOpera will consolidate its administrative, musical and productionoffices. The building also will include artist apartments, a500-seat theater, rehearsal halls and a parking garage. The operacenter was designed in a modernist style and will feature glasscurtain walls, a glass balcony bridge and a two-story lobby.
The project's architect is Rodriguez and Quiroga, ArchitectsChartered of Coral Gables. Stanley Arkin of Arkin Consulting Inc.in Miami Beach is overseeing the building's design and constructionfor the Florida Grand Opera.
