Jim Biondi of the South Bay office of Grubb & Ellis saysUnited Bakery Equipment is slated to occupy the single-story,concrete tilt-up facility, which is located at 19216 S. Laurel ParkRoad, in August. The building, which is known as the Robert Skeelsfacility, will be used for manufacturing. United Bakery will berelocating from 30,000 sf in Rancho Dominguez to its new facility,which was built in 1971.

Biondi and Terry Reitz, also of the Grubb & Ellis South Bayoffice, represented Parker Hannifin in the transaction. Ed Whitmoreof Los Angeles Real Estate Management represented the buyer.

The building that United Bakery will occupy includes 2,500 sf ofoffice space. It was formerly a warehousing facility for ParkerHannifin, which is a Cleveland, OH-based firm that manufactures avariety of products for industrial and aerospace uses.
