At the same time, Kajima has promoted Joe McGrath, former SVPfor marketing, to executive vice president and chief operatingofficer. McGrath also will head the firms national marketinggroup.
Hara, who has been with Kajima for 23 years, has worked in bothJapan and the United States, where he previously was an SVP incharge of nationwide U.S. operations. McGrath, a former generalmanager of the firm's southwest region, has been in theconstruction industry for 30 years and has extensive experience inhealth care, pharmaceutical and high tech facilities.
The remainder of KCS's core management group will remainunchanged, with Richard Nigro continuing as executive vicepresident and secretary and Katsushi Norihama as treasurer andassistant secretary.
