ATLANTA-Post Properties Inc. is paying third-quarter dividends on its common and preferred stock issues.

The locally based apartment REIT will be paying common stock shareholders of record on Sept. 30 45 cents per share on Oct. 15. The company’s annual dividend rate is $1.80 per share. Post is also paying dividends on four cumulative redeemable preferred stock programs.

On its 8.5% series A preferred, the company will be paying $1.06 per share on Sept. 30 to holders of record on Sept. 15. On the 7 5/8% series B and C preferred, the dividends are 47 cents per share and will also be paid on Sept. 30. On the 8% series D preferred, the dividend is 50 cents per unit for the Sept. 1 through Nov. 30 period, payable Dec. 1 to all unit holders on Nov. 15.
