The project was proposed last fall and had met with oppositionfrom a group of local residents who were concerned about theproject's impact on noise and traffic in the area. The companyreportedly has about 1,500 franchises in the New England area andproducts for those stores will be distributed from thislocation.Harvey notes that the vote requires a 30-day appealsprocess. If there are no appeals within that timeframe, DunkinDonuts can move ahead with construction.
