Berling is a commercial real estate development "deal making"veteran with more than 25 years of experience, says Alex Lagerborg,president and chief executive officer. He also is director of realestate for All Terrain Property Funds and owns Berling EquitiesLLC, a real estate development consulting and real estate servicescompany. He also is a board member of Matrix Capital Bank, a memberof the Urban Land Institute and the University of Colorado RealEstate Council.

Previously, Berling was a senior executive with HomartDevelopment Co., the former development arm of Sears Roebuck &Co. He was also with Glacier Park Co. and Beta West Properties.Beta West is the former real estate arm of U S West, which was thephone company purchased by Qwest Communications.

Lagerborg also was voted to the board. Lagerborg has almost 30years in the real estate business. Previously, he was president ofCapital Strategies Network, a company that provided investorrelations counsel to publicly traded companies. He also served asexecutive vice president and co-founder of Landmark Title ServicesCorp., a regional title insurance company.
