The firm has constructed facilities in 22 states and has beeninvolved with similar projects such as the Seiji Ozawa Concert Hallat Tanglewood in Lennox, MA; the Opera House in Boston; the GosmanAmphitheater at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the PerformingArts in West Palm Beach, FL, and the Norton Museum of Art in PalmBeach, FL.

The Bethel Woods project will include a 4,000-seat coveredpavilion, an interpretive center and events lobby, permanent farmmarket structures, parking and infrastructure. The performing artscenter is being developed at the site of the 1969 WoodstockFestival in Bethel. According to Gerry Foundation officials, theproject is now before the Town of Bethel seeking site planapproval. All environmental reviews have been completed andconstruction is scheduled to begin sometime this summer.

Cablevision founder Alan Gerry purchased the 37.4-acre locationof the original festival in 1996. Funding for the project comesfrom the Gerry Foundation, with more than $15 million from federaland state government sources.
