Derek F. Beck, Axis' new team member, exited the Navisys Group,a subsidiary of McCord Development in Houston, after a one-yearstint. He and four others joined Navisys in May 2003 after thehigh-powered merger between CB Richard Ellis Inc. and Insignia/ESG.He's also worked for Strategis Cresa and Trione & Gordon.
The recently hired Beck hit the ground running by jumpstartingseveral lease negotiations. He says he also intends to expandbusiness by "pursuing all types of deals."
