Prendergast is currently vice president of property managementand construction. In his new role, he will be responsible foroverseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. Prendergastjoined the company in 1999 and was responsible for all propertymanagement and development activities for a portfolio that grewfrom 60 properties in 1999 to its current 166 properties.Previously, he was employed by Urban Retail Properties/OverseasManagement Inc., a publicly traded retail REIT, where he managedUrban's mixed-use development and fee-managed properties.

David C. Sweetser, vice president of business development, willassume direct responsibility for the Heritage's property managementand construction departments. Sweetser joined Heritage in February2004. Prior to joining the company, Sweetser was director ofleasing at Eastern Development Inc.

Heritage focuses on grocer-anchored shopping centers withmultiple anchors. Heritage currently has a shopping centerportfolio of 162 centers, located in 29 states and totalingapproximately 32.7 million sf.
