VT Controls subleased all but 5,490 sf of its office/warehousespace to TD Williamson Inc. in a decision to hold onto the balance,primarily the office component. Chris Kugle with NAI PartnersCommercial in Houston tells GlobeSt.com that the UnitedKingdom-based VT Controls had the space on the market nearly a yearat 64 cents per sf. He says negotiations got aggressive, but TDWilliamson agreed to sign for balance of the three years left onthe term.
The 109,336-sf building is positioned near the George BushIntercontinental Airport in the Jackson, MS-based EastGroupProperties Inc.'s World Houston International Business Center.Brent Tomlinson of Tomlinson Commercial in Houston represented TDWilliamson.
