PHOENIX-Elliot Auto Supply Co. Inc. has signed a five-year lease worth $230,000 for 9,828 sf in First Commons at West 10. The office-warehouse space is the growing company’s third location in the Phoenixmarket, joining additional sites in Deer Valley and Tempe.”It’s a pretty new building and strategic location for them,” Gary Anderson, a senior associate at Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial in Phoenix, tells GlobeSt.com. “It’s a multi-tenant building that is very close to the freeway, which was important to this tenant.”Located at 4645 West McDowell Road, First Commons at West 10 was built in 1999 and features 132,000 sf of leaseable space in two single-story buildings. The West Phoenix site is home to predominantly small and midsize distribution companies that take advantage of the combination warehouse and office space. Theproperty boasted a 4% vacancy as of the latest lease deal, says Anderson.Based in Minneapolis, Elliot Auto Supply does business as Factory Motor Parts. Anderson and Marc Hertzberg with Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial represented both the tenant and the owner, Top 10 Properties of Phoenix.
