DALLAS-Two top-level promotions and four hires have been put in place at Palladium Group, Cencor Realty Services, Trammell Crow Co. and Castle Hills Development Corp.Thomas E. Huth took over reins as president and CEO for Palladium (USA) International Inc., replacing Spencer Stuart who spent the past month transitioning out of the Dallas-headquartered role for the Milan, Italy-based group. Huth has been with the company five years. Word on the street is that the changing of the guard is partly tied to Palladium’s winding down of US development activity as it beefs up the focus for a project in its homeport.”Our current focus, along with strategies to be implemented within the year, will be the catalyst to enable Palladium’s US operations to grow at a considerable pace over the next decade,” Huth said in a press release. That current focus, say some insiders, includes converting some apartment properties into condo product. At Cencor Realty Services, David Palmer was named executive vice president. Palmer will oversee development activity along with oversight for an existing portfolio.Meanwhile, Trammell Crow Co. recently hired two senior vice presidents: David Reed and Michael Caffey. Reed, previously with Lincoln Property Co. in Dallas, will focus on leasing office product in the Dallas CBD, far north Dallas submarket and Las Colinas. The 23-year professional also was hired to act as point man for future office development and build-to-suit transactions.Caffey, with 11 years in the industry, will specialize in growing the corporate outsourcing business. Prior to the move, he was with Jones Lang LaSalle in Dallas. At Castle Hills Development Corp., Eric Stanley was named director of commercial development and Doug Walker hired as operations director for the 2,500-acre, mixed-used community located northwest of Dallas near Lewisville. Stanley, a 23-year professional, was an executive vice president in Austin for Houston-based Yancey-Hausman. Walker previously worked for Denton County and Dallas-based Hill & Wilkinson Ltd.
