Developer Gregory Marcotte says that, when complete, PremierCourts will be the largest indoor basketball facility in NewEngland. The 70,000-sf sports complex will feature sixregulation-size basketball courts and other sports rentals. Thesteel-framed building will feature a mezzanine down the middle ofthe structure and a 4,000-sf concession area. The scheduledcompletion date is late fall 2004 with Nauset Construction Corp. ofNewton Lower Falls, MA, serving as Marcotte's constructionpartner.
"The vision for Premier Courts began as I was driving 30 minutesto a kid's basketball practice at 6:30 a.m.," says Marcotte. "Whencomplete, Premier Courts will more than double the availablebasketball court space in the area, creating a greater opportunityfor children to participate in the sport."
