BRIGHTON, MI-Grubb & Ellis Co. has arranged the lease of 10,957 sf of industrial/office space here to Direct Buy. The property, owned by Wanko Industrial Center, LLC, was selected for its close proximity to Ann Arbor and Lansing, its freeway exposure and because of the new development in Eagle Business Center, Grubb & Ellis brokers say.

Occupancy is expected in August 2004. Grubb & Ellis team members Jon Savoy and Brandon Podolski represented Wanko Industrial Center, LLC.

Direct Buy, a “members only” wholesale buying club, is part of UCC Total Home, now in its 33rd year of business. Members pay no mark-up on items from more than 900 name brand manufacturers, purchasing showroom merchandise directly from the manufacturer at cost.
