J&S Storage LLC of Phoenix purchased an 8,678-sf warehouseat 2001 E. Cedar St. in Tempe from the local seller, Future Center& Park Inc. The expanding sports merchandiser got afive-year-old building close to Loop 101. Marc Pierce of Lee &Associates in Phoenix represented the buy side and the ColliersInternational team of Paul Sieczkowski, Mike Powers and RobMartensen handled talks for the seller.

In Mesa, Erchonia Medical spent $1.8 million for a 14,100-sfwarehouse at 4751 E. Indigo St. The manufacturer of therapeuticmedical lasers was by the extra room with a 2.5-acre site. "It wasa two-lot deal, which totaled 107,740 sf, and was ideal for futureexpansion," Pierce tells GlobeSt.com about the Mesa Commerce Centeracquisition from LGE Design Build of Phoenix.

A brand-new building and close freeway proximity sewed up thedecision to buy, he says. The buy represents a new location for thegrowing Mesa-based company.
