Situated along the Charles River, the property, which wasacquired by the Dominican Fathers in 1951, includes a total of68,792 sf of buildings. It will continue to operate as a religiousretreat until its closing in September. Boston-based Meredith &Grew represented the Dominican Fathers.

In April, the Archdiocese of Boston agreed to sell BostonCollege part of its campus in Brighton, which is adjacent to thecollege, in a deal that will ultimately cost $107 million. Thattransaction involves 43 acres including the former archbishop'sresidence. Boston College will pay $99.4 million for the site. TheArchdiocese has also agreed to sell the Catholic college thethree-acre Lake Street Tribunal property in two years for $8million.
