Century Kitchens, a kitchen and bath remodeling firm based inMalvern, PA expands to Berks County with the purchase of a78,634-sf, two-building industrial property in Leesport, PA for$850,000, or just $10.81 per sf. The 8.1-acre site at 130 East WallSt. contains a 47,812-sf brick building with 10 truck loading docksand paved parking for 154 vehicles, and a 30,822-sf all-metalstructure with six tailgate truck loading docks, a 25-foot ceilingand a small office area.

Century will use it for light manufacturing, assembly,warehousing and distribution. Paul Touhey of the Wayne, PA officeof CB Richard Ellis represented the owner, Spring Ford Industries,in the sale and was sole broker in the transaction.

A private limited partnership, 12-14 Prizer LP, acquires the5,400-sf former Kimberton Food Market at 12-24 Pizer Rd. in theKimberton, PA historic district and along with a single-familyresidence for $415,000. JoAnne Cuddahy, senior associate withWayne, PA-based Lieberman Earley & Co., represented Theresa R.Bodick, the seller. The area office of Prudential Fox Roachrepresented the buyer. Plans for the property, which is a mile westof Phoenixville, are undisclosed, but Cuddahy says the site issuitable for retail, office or professional use and there is"excellent investment potential" in the residence, she adds.
