Paramount, a moving and storage company based in California,will open doors in August at 3009 Claymoore Rd. John Ferruzzo andTravis Land, both with NAI Houston, represented the landlord,Rolamar Ltd., while the tenant opted for director talks. Land tellsGlobeSt.com that the rate came close to the asking price of 45cents per sf, triple net.

At 2900 N. Loop West, the law firm of Lorance & Thompsonrenewed a 13,007-sf lease and added 7,508 sf at Brookhollow CentralII. The longtime tenant was represented by Rob Banzhaf and Dan F.Boyles Jr., both with NAI Houston, while Les Johns of theChicago-based Equity Office Properties handled its bargaining forthe class A, 302,000-sf office building.

According to Banzhaf, the tenant needed to expand and was ableto work out an aggressive, medium-term deal. The average askingprice is $19 per sf for the 14-story building.
