Saddled between Farmwell and Waxpool Roads, the property becamepart of ISA's portfolio six years ago and is currently home to twonew baseball fields used by the Dulles Little League. The plannedschool campus would have replaced one of ISA's two campuses in theFairfax, VA area.
The plan had been met with a great deal of resistance fromLoudoun County residents. In a prepared statement academy officialsexplain they were pleased to turn down lucrative offers for theland in order to sell parcel to the county for educationalpurposes.
