A HallKeen affiliate has made an initial investment in the62-unit Brigham House in Watertown, the 110-unit Prospect House inRevere, the 42-unit Corcoran House in Clinton and the 44-unitCameron House in Lenox. HallKeen Baran also assumed the managementof these facilities, which had been managed by Benchmark SeniorLiving.

Paul Ferreira, managing director of Baran notes that, "Combiningourstrengths gives us the economic stability and managementexpertise needed to provide our community's residents with thecaring, respectful service they deserve."

HallKeen was formed in 1991 as a joint venture of HallPropertiesand Keen Development Corp. The company manages over 4,200units of housing and more than 2.3 million sf of commercial spacein New England, Virginia, and North Carolina. Baran has developedand purchased residential property in the state, including assistedliving communities, for the past eight years.
