In the largest transaction, Party Fair of Middletown took 13,304sf at Middletown Plaza in Middletown. Schultz director StevenWinters also represented the landlord, the Philadelphia-based NewPlan Excel Realty Trust. The 200,000-sf shopping center has beenundergoing a substantial makeover that has seen anchor ShopRitesupermarket more than double its space to nearly 80,000 sf, andEckerd Drug and Joyce Leslie join the tenant roster asco-anchors.

In other transactions authored by Schultz brokers, Baja Freshtook 3,250 sf for a new restaurant at 1600-1660 Route 23 North inWayne; and both Sprint Spectrum (3,000 sf for a wireless stores)and the Fatburger restaurant chain (2,500 sf) took space at theintersection of Mount Hope Rd and I-80 in Rockaway.

Finally, Sprint Spectrum took another 1,650 sf on Route 22 Westin North Plainfield; and both Camille's Sidewalk Café (2,814 sf)and Fatburger (2,000 sf) took space at Christopher Columbus Driveand Washington Street in Jersey City.
