The institution, which has more than 150 campuses in 30 states,Puerto Rico and Canada, and also provides on-line degree andcontinuing education programs, will use the space for theadministrative offices, classroom and student resource facilities,according to Dr. George E. Lucas Jr., vice president and localcampus director. The school will move its only Garden State campusacross town from its current location at 525 Washington Blvd.

100 Pavonia Ave. is a six-story, 100,000-sf office buildingowned by the Lefrak Organization and situated within its NewportOffice Center on this city's waterfront. The tenant mix of theremainder of the building is primarily financial-related.

"The university required a strategically located facility thatoffered an appropriate image and exceptional access to masstransit," says Welsh.
