He was a founding partner of Dallas-based San GabrielResidential Inc. and was division president and managing partnerfor JPI Partners Inc. Ward will oversee Post's regional valuecreation team operating from Dallas. "Building regional valuecreation teams is a central element of Post's corporate strategy,"says Tom Senkbeil, Post's executive vice president and chiefinvestment officer.

In his career to date, Ward participated in the development andmanagement of over $1.5 billion in assets covering 55 transactionsin 11 major markets, Senkbeil says. "He has significant multifamilyexperience, including the development, leasing and sales of 26communities valued at approximately $845 million, netting a pre-taxprofit in excess of $125 billion," Senkbeil says.

Ward is a 1981 graduate of Texas Tech University and is acertified public accountants.
