PLACENTIA, CA-Locally based private investors have acquired four industrial buildings for a total of more than $9 million in four separate deals here and in other Orange County cities, according to Voit Commercial Brokerage. The buyers in three of the four deals are individuals, with some buyers purchasing the properties as owner-users and others as investors.In Placentia, an individual buyer acquired a fully leased, 31,179-sf building at 1000-1070 Richfield from Coast Realty Co. for $3.6 million as a leased investment. Rob Socci and Peter Castleton of the Anaheim Metro office of Voit represented the seller, with the buyer represented by Steve Maynard of Shiloh Real Estate.In Corona, Curlan LTD acquired a 23,550-sf building at 3015-3035 from BKM Development Co. for $2.6 million, with BKM represented by Socci and Jack Faris of the Anaheim Metro office of Voit. Curlan, which was represented by Bill Livesay and Walter Frome of Trammell Crow Co., will use the building, which was developed by BKM this year, for its wholesale electrical distribution center.In Orange, an individual investor bought a 16,747-sf at 870 N. Eckhoff in Orange for $1.8 million and plans to lease the space as a warehouse for storage of antiques. The buyer was represented by Mitch Zehner, Louis Tomaselli and Mike Boomer of Voit’s Anaheim Metro office, with the seller, a private investment entity, represented by Ian Britton of CB Richard Ellis.In Anaheim, an individual investor purchased an 8,046-sf building at 3840 E. Miraloma Ave. from two private individuals for $1.1 million. The buyer, a plumbing contractor, plans to occupy the new facility as an owner-user. Socci and Joe Miller of Voit’s Anaheim Metro office represented both the buyer and the sellers.
