The sale of the 12,000-sf parcel was endorsed by the communitydevelopment commission even though Canzoneri's RedevelopmentEnterprises is seeking to financial assistance for her $862,000project in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. She expects the1,250-sf units to sell for $225,000 to $300,000.

Although she is involved in projects in south suburban Frankfortand Sauk Village, Canzoneri's portfolio includes another EastGarfield Park redevelopment at 3351 W. Ohio St., as well as 721 N.Avers in Humboldt Park. However, she tells the communitydevelopment commission most of her portfolio now is in vacant land,including a 16-acre site at 87th Street and the Dan Ryan Expresswaythat could be developed for either residential or commercialuse.
