The new enterprise is in response to an extensive militaryhousing privatization program initiated by the US Department ofDefense. Kimble has more than 20 years experience in real estatedevelopment and she has been with Opus since 1994. Prior to her newposition, Kimble had primary development responsibility fornational clients and managed real estate development projects on anational basis. During her tenure with Opus, she has completed inexcess of six million sf of build-to-suit development for nationalclients. She also led the national business development team andhad responsibility for a number of special projects in the US andCanada.

The locally based Opus Group has offices in 26 cities across theUS, and one in Toronto. Since opening its doors in 1953, Opus hasdeveloped more than 210 million sf and completed more than 2,200projects across the country. Opus currently has approximately 25million sf of space planned or under development.
