"The Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau says thisgroup will have a high demand for restaurants, especially forevening dining," says Nancy A. Burkhart, executive director of LoDoDistrict Inc. And she notes from Oct. 10-15, about 8,000 members ofthe Society of Exploration Geophysicists also will be holding aconvention in Downtown.

"They, too, are requesting that restaurants be ready for them,"Burkhart says. "They plan to go to dinner between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.Let's plan ahead."

If the geophysicists spend at the same rate as the financialplanners, it could have an economic impact of $12.6 million.
