Marking his second week on the job, Matthew Wieser, who left anassociate's role at CB Richard Ellis Inc. in Dallas, becomes thefourth employee for Pillar Commercial. Wieser's challenge is tohelp Manny Ybarra, president of Pillar Commercial, fill the blocksof empty space in a portfolio that consists of One Glen Lakes, 7515Greenville, 6500 Greenville, Northcreek Place, Bank One @ LBJ andForest Abrams Place.

The decision to change jobs, Wieser says, is "an opportunity toeventually realize some of my own investment ambitions." He alsowill assist Ybarra with acquisitions.

The Pillar team includes Joe McCrory, Pillar's property manager,and Ben Barton, vice president of finance. Ybarra, a generalpartner in the Landgem portfolio, exited a longtime post asexecutive vice president for TPMC Realty Corp. in Dallas to launchPillar Commercial, which is focused on acquisitions in Las Colinas,Far North Dallas and Richardson in addition to leasing andmanagement of the core assets of Landgem LP.
