Hamp made the announcements during a celebration to mark the75th anniversary of Henry Ford Museum. "This campaign will helpgive us the financial resources to fulfill our mission and realizeour vision," Hamp says. "As we put the finishing touches on theGreenfield Village restoration project, we will turn our attentionto Henry Ford Museum."

"The Inspiration Project: the Campaign to Transform the HenryFord" will support and improve existing infrastructure as well hashelp build new exhibits and establish new programming. To date,nearly $115million has already been raised.

Among the projects awaiting work at Greenfield Village areupgrades and renovations to the:

  • pottery production facility
  • glass and ceramics gallery
  • expanded glass production facility
  • soybean laboratory
  • McGuffey birthplace restoration
  • Sir John Bennett restoration
