Pete Richardson with Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercialtells GlobeSt.com that the auction company bought a ready-to-gosite at 1121 Cantrell Sansom Rd., paying "relatively close" to the$2.5-million asking price for the deed to a half dozen of metalwarehouse buildings in the Blue Mound industrial corridor off Loop820. The set-up will begin in November, he says, adding the plan isto occupy part of the terminal and lease the balance. The rate hasyet to be set.

The terminal, previously housing Trailmaster Corp., will be theninth permanent auction site for Nationwide Auction Systems, a26-year-old company with annual gross revenues of more than $100million. The company, which does 80 to 100 auctions per year ateach site, sells vehicles, equipment, boats, repos and seizures forgovernment agencies and private industry.

Henry S. Miller Commercial's Greg Trout and Richardsonrepresented the buyer in the 90-day start-to-finish. all-cashclose. Bob Scully and Jamie White, both with Trammell Crow Co.'sFort Worth office, negotiated the deal for the seller, a localfamily trust.
