NAR, which purchased the 93,000-sf building from developerLawrence N. Brandt Inc. six months ago for $16 million, will makeits home in 40,000 sf of the structure and leave the remainingspace open for lease. Cassidy & Pinkard is in place as thebuilding manager and leasing agent, and is marketing the class Aoffice space for $37 to $40 per-sf.

Located midway between the US Capitol and the MCI Center, the12-story Graham Gund Architects-designed office building is drapedin glass from top to bottom and sports blue-green hues. But itsmost talked-about feature is its environmentally advanced make-up,which wins it the title of the District's first newly developed"green" building, having met all the standards of superiorenvironmental performance as outlined by the US Green BuildingCouncil. The structure is in line to receive certification from theLeadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building RatingSystem.
