The development will be Hovnanian's third Four Seasons propertyin Virginia, joining the Four Seasons at Vint Hill in Warrenton andthe Four Seasons at Historic Virginia in Dumfries. "It has been along-awaited addition to the K. Hovnanian community list," RogerRiggins, community manager of K. Hovnanian's Four Seasons atAshburn Village, says of the new development. "I have no doubt thatthe Four Seasons at Ashburn Village will meet or exceed theexpectations of even the most selective active-adulthomebuyer."

Surrounded by Routes 7, 607, 267, and 658, Ashburn Village sitsin Loudoun County about 45 minutes outside of Washington, DC. Whenall is said and done, the condominium community will feature anexclusive 2,500-sf clubhouse with exercise facility, clubroom andhearth rooms, and access to the 32,000-sf AshburnVillage sportspavilion, which will offer tennis courts and swimming pools, andother recreational venues. The first building of themulti-structure community is expected to be ready for occupancy inthe spring of next year.

K. Hovnanian has not disclosed the development cost for AshburnVillage. However, price tags attached to other Northern Virginiacondominium developments--while they vary widely, depending on anynumber of factors--provide a vague indication of how much theproperty might cost to complete. In Alexandria, a joint venture isdeveloping the 116-unit Royalton Condominiums for $28 million, andWaterford Development's 80-unit Broadway Condominium mixed-useproperty was built for about $30 million in Falls Church.
