GRANDVILLE, MI-A 20,388-sf Staples Superstore will open in theCentury Center at the corner of Ivanrest Avenue and Century CenterStreet in this west Michigan town. Robert G. Lotzar, with CBRichard Ellis, negotiated the lease terms on behalf of Daane'sDevelopment, the owner and developer of Century Center.
The new Staples, slated to open in June 2005, is the first ofthree new store locations scheduled to open in the Grand Rapidsmarket. The 110,000-sf Century Center is located in the main retailcorridor of Grandville, adjacent to the Rivertown Crossings Malland a new 240,000-sf Meijer store.
