Overall vacancy in the western end of the Interstate 88 officemarket to start the fourth quarter was 31.2% including subleasespace, according to Cushman & Wakefield's most recent researchreport. That hardly dissuaded the new owners of the building nearInterstate 88 exits at Naperville and Winfield roads.

"263 Shuman is the right property at the right time," says GVAWilliams' David Trumpy, in charge of leasing the building. "As theeconomy continues to recover, this property represents anefficient, cost-effective opportunity for corporate tenants seekinglarge blocks of space to expand their operations."

Meanwhile, GVA Williams is marketing the 225,000-sf 1100Warrenville Rd. building here for lease or sale.
