Year-to-date, the average price of a condo is $180,701, comparedwith $174,658 in the first 11 months of the year. The median, ormiddle price, of a condo, fell to $156,000 from $159,000 inOctober. The median price tends to be less skewed by a few,expensive sales, so is considered a better indicator of the marketthan the average price.

The median price in November is up slightly from the year beforeinNovember, when it stood at $155,000. Year-to-date, the medianprice of a condo is $157,000, compared with $154,000 for first 11months of 2003.
