Most of the new development will be on the edge ofWellingborough town centre where the company has secured consentfor 1.1 million sf of sheds. Earlier this year ProLogis bought the50-acre Victoria Park site, located close to the A4 for links tothe East Coast ports.

The first phase of the 50-acre Victoria Park site will comprise780,000 sf in a single shed. ProLogis is also mulling over thepossible speculative development of a second phase comprising360,000 sf.

ProLogis is also going to build a 168,000-sf unit on aneight-acre site in Didcot, Oxfordshire where they are quoting £6.75per sf. And in addition, the distribution specialist has startedspeculative construction of a 190,000-sf shed close to the northcircular in Enfield, north London.
