A new suite and club structure will be built above the maingrandstand near the finish line and will hold 16 suites, a pressbox, a section of Champions Club seats and other amenities. MISsays the project will be done in time for the Nascar Nextel CupSeries event at MIS June 17-19.
MIS is owned by Daytona Beach, FL-based International SpeedwayCorp., which is not disclosing project costs.
