WEST CHESTER, PA-Electronics Boutique's 80,000-sf warehousebuilding on 7.3 acres at Two Hagerty Blvd. sold for $5.5 million,or $68.75 per sf. In May, the company, which owns and operates morethan 1,800 EB Games stores in 10 countries, broke ground for a new315,000-sf distribution facility in the Bellair Business Center innearby Sadsbury, estimated to cost approximately $13 million.

John Lieberman, a principal at Wayne-based Lieberman Earley& Co., represented Electronics Boutique in the sale toSiegfried Goshen Inc. Jim Lees and Jeff Duffy of locally basedSource Realty represented the buyer. Lieberman had also arrangedfor the development and subsequent purchase of the game company'snew facility. This sale, Lieberman says, "was part of an overallstrategy of Electronics Boutique to increase its distributioncapacity to accommodate its fast growing worldwidenetwork...[enabling the company] to be extremely cost effectivewhile doubling its Eastern US distribution capability."
