NORFOLK, VA-The Bank of Hampton Roads has signed a deal for24,000 sf at the 436,000-sf Dominion Tower for its localheadquarters. For the bank, which is a division of Hampton RoadsBankshares Inc., the space will mark its 17th location in the areaand will house many of the bank's executive offices, administrativeoperations, as well as a full-service bank branch. The bank'sGreenbrier headquarters office will remain open and will undergo arenovation.
A class A office property with an attached eight-level parkingfacility, the 26-story Dominion Tower at 999 Waterside Dr. wasdeveloped in 1987 and sits within proximity to I-264. No specificinformation on the bank's lease transaction with property ownerHarbor Group International LLC has been released.
