WASHINGTON, DC-Signing a lease for the 16,000 sf on theground-level of 3333 M St. NW, Artefacto has found a home inGeorgetown. The Brazilian home furnishings chain will move into the30,700-sf recently redeveloped Eagle building--the top half ofwhich is occupied by a design firm--under a 10-year lease.
Ralph Tapiero of Sax Realty represented Artefacto in thetenant's transaction with property owner Eastbanc Inc., which wasrepresented by its in-house team of Anthony Lanier and MarcieConnolly. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed;however Washington, DC is one of the hottest retail markets in thecountry. It ranks third out of 41 of the nation's majormetropolitan markets on Marcus & Millichap's National RetailIndex.
