Last week the company signed for 4,500 rooms in Sichuan. Thismeans IHG has now signed almost 6,000 rooms in China in the lasttwo weeks. "This latest signing with Greenland Group comes hot onthe heels of our landmark six-hotel signing in Sichuan with theChengdu International Exhibition & Convention Group," says IHGchief executive Andrew Cosslett. "These back-to-backmultiple-property deals cement our position in China. We'reextremely optimistic about the outlook for the region."
