Brightcove's relocation left 8,767 sf available on the215,385-sf tower's seventh floor, which was snatched up by TagsysRfid, a firm that provides tracking systems for businesses. "Thepieces of this puzzle came together quickly," says David Townsend,part of the Cushman & Wakefield team that put together thelease deals. "Hewlett Packard no longer needed their space at OneCambridge Center, Brightcove needed expansion to accommodate theirrapid growth and Tagsys sought a short-term, plug-and-play scenarioto get their local headquarters started."

Terms of the leases were not disclosed. The transaction washandled for Brightcove and Hewlett Packard by Townsend, MarkWinters, and Juliette Reiter, all with Cushman & Wakefield'sBoston office, while Roy Hirshland, with T3 Realty Advisors ofLexington, represented Tagsys Rfid. The building, part of a 2.7million-sf urban center in Kendall square, is owned by BostonProperties.
