The firm's relocation was spurred by theimpending end of the firm's lease this year and an issue that beganthree years ago; Gebhardt & Smith had filed a lawsuit, whichwas recently settled, asserting that the property owner and managerdid not honor their responsibility to protect the building from2003's Hurricane Isabel.
