Cyrus Sharp and Marco Lainez are the firm's newly named managingdirectors for the Southeast. Sharp will work out of the Atlantaoffice; Lainez will do business at the firm's New Yorkheadquarters. The pair has over 25 years of real estate financeexperience.
Sharp headed CIBC's Atlanta production office for seven yearsbefore joining IXIS. Lainez spent five years at CIBC--three yearsin Atlanta and two years in New York.
"Their first-hand knowledge of the region's markets and stronglocal relationships will have an immediate positive impact on thegrowth trajectory of our platform," Scott Zucker, managing directorand head of origination at IXIS Real Estate Capital, says in aprepared statement.
