Dashiell Corp. will move in September to 12301 Kurland Dr.,owned by Capital Commercial Investments Inc. of Austin. Theengineering firm now offices at 12600 N. Featherwood Dr.
"The building had originally been constructed as a build-to-suitfor Centerpoint in 1983," says Eric Anderson, senior vice presidentof locally based Transwestern Commercial Services. "It ultimatelybecame Texas Genco. When that power company relocated downtown, theentire facility became available."
Anderson tells GlobeSt.com that the owner plans to start a$2-million renovation in May. While a general contractor has notyet been hired, the San Francisco-based Gensler Architecture Design& Planning's local team is gaming out the redesign.
